27th December 2011 - Here I am in Banbury UK with Willy in Norway, we are now some six months into the trip so it's probably about time to do some editing on my diary entries and try and turn them into literary pearls.... This process actually started in August in Norway but for various reason I didn't manage to get round to publishing - lets hope it's like child birth and the first one is always a bit tricky but after that it gets easier....or so I've been told...
Before we get into the blog proper we would like to say special thanks to friends who in someway or other made this trip possible....
Susan, Isobel & Phoebe - for there help with finding Bart a home and continued interest in his well being.
Brian and Grant - for putting us up before our departure, feeding us and the many loans of the pope-mobile.
Michael and Stephen - for also feeding us, car loans and acting as 'poste restante and office administrator' in our absence.
Serge - for his storage facilities
John aka Susan - for promising to come and see us in Europe.....
We are missing you all......
